Virtual Earth Day Dance Party!

In February 2020, ForestPlanet produced a very successful event that drove home a simple point: we can all do fun things and live normal lives while doing a good thing at the same time. And of course that ‘good thing’ is planting trees, in fact 20,000 of them in one night!

Building on this initial success, we announce a new event series called Progress360, since we wish to party local and plant global.

The first Progress360 event is Thursday, April 21st, 2022 – Earth Day Eve! We really wanted this to be an in-person celebration, but given lingering COVID realities this is a virtual event. There’s no charge to attend, but RSVPs are needed to get the particular Twitch channel link. If you’re not familiar, Twitch is a free streaming platform that anyone can access, similar to YouTube. People who set up a free profile are able to live-chat during the event, and make song requests as well. We’ll still feature classic music videos and dance tunes from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, brought right to your computer room. All registrants will be entered to win cool stuff from our participating sponsors, including awesome honey, athletic wear, and other fun items. More details to be announced soon.
